As most of you will know we have been asked to host the Huddersfield Evening League finals this Sunday , one game will start at 11am and the other at 2pm and we have been asked to provide teas for 30 between the innings of the second match.

Is anyone is able to donate a home baked cake, buns or scones for this tea and any offer of help on the day would be most welcome ( Leah is on holiday). I plan to do a buffet style tea so it is helping prepare, serve cups of tea/coffee and tidy away afterwards. There will be a few extras for supporters. I will do all the shopping so it's just a case of turning up to help. We may do bacon sandwiches to sell for the morning session for players and supporters. If anyone is able to help that would be great, I'm just waiting for confirmation from the teams to see if it's something they may want.

The bar will be open throughout the day and we have it staffed but an extra pair of hands is always useful, we could run a raffle if there are people to help with the selling of tickets.

I realise it's the holidays, but hopefully some people can lend a hand - it's not often we get the chance to host things like this so it would be nice to do a good job and provide a good service.
