The 2nd team have made it through to the semi final of the Paddock Shield ,which is is Drakes Huddersfield League open age 2nd team knockout competition.
Although their league position doesn't look overly impressive due to players having work commitments,they can't half field a formidable team on Sundays. This really did show when they demolished the competition favourites Hoylandswaine in the quarter final at Holmfirth.

In the semi final they are draw against Edgerton & Dalton 1st team who last year played in the Huddersfield Central League. Due to the Central being disbanded at the end of last season Edgerton have been admitted into the Drakes Huddersfield League with a number of other teams and until the Drakes league is restructured an anomalie has been created whereas some 1st teams are playing against 2nd teams ( just in case there was any confusion about 1st v's 2nd ).
